University Colleges and Facilities

The University of Dundee is divided into four colleges. Each college comprises several schools and smaller units, including research centres, galleries, and laboratories. The Colleges are:
- College of Art and Design, Architecture, Engineering and Physical Sciences
- College of Arts and Social Sciences
- College of Life Sciences
- College of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing
College of Art and Design, Architecture, Engineering and Physical Sciences
This College offers a diverse range of courses, from fine arts and architecture to engineering and mathematics. It is composed of four schools, under which there are nine departments and units.
College of Arts and Social Sciences
This College teaches courses in literature, environment, geography, psychology, commerce, and other related fields. Its library is one of the best equipped in the university, with a large collection of audio and video resources, plus several audiovisual rooms for viewing multimedia materials.
College of Life Sciences
The College of Life Sciences is the smallest in the university, with only two schools. It has highly specialised research centres, and even has a DNA sequencing service.
College of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing
This College has three schools in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and midwifery. It is affiliated with major hospitals and smaller clinics, where it engages in several research programmes and where its students are trained for service-oriented practice.
